Does this include upgrading our EBS version?
No. ForgeL&S moves your environment as it stands and assumes your current EBS version already runs on OCI. If an upgrade or patch is needed first, that is separate work, scoped and priced on its own.
How much downtime should we expect?
Minimal, planned downtime. We aim for the shortest realistic cutover window for your setup, and confirm the actual window once we have assessed your environment.
Is the OCI landing zone an extra cost?
No. Building the landing zone, including environment structure, networking, access management, compute and storage, is part of the project rather than a separate engagement.
Who runs the testing?
We coordinate and support one round of UAT with your team. Running the test scripts, validating business processes and fixing anything that surfaces stays with your functional team.
What do you need from our network team?
We will tell you exactly what is required to connect to OCI, whether that is VPN or FastConnect, open ports or firewall rules. The changes themselves are made by your network team.
Can you size our estate before we commit?
Yes. Our On-Prem to OCI Migration Assessment covers workload sizing and the multi-year cost picture. It is a separate engagement, and useful if you want detail before committing to the migration.
Do you only work on systems you implemented?
No. We specialise in stepping into environments built by anyone, to stabilise, optimise and move them forward.
